Air 2s Ice Is Finally Breaking Up

Say words "ice" and "breaking" in same sentence to Finn and he thinks about this...;)

There's some gusty wind predicted for next week here, but don't think weather warms enough for that wind to be enough to start breaking ice.
(at sea it's propably going to start building up pressure ridges)
Well, Mavic 3 I should get in couple days shouldn't give a **** about that wind...
Assuming that individual isn't "GNSS challenged" already without possible GPS jamming from Putinistan.

All great pics! The "Ol' Polar Plunge" doesn't appeal to me - Good for them though!

Its all for charity, the money will be going towards the Special Olympics, Roots to Harvest, the CNIB, and for the first time, PRO Kids. The event raised over 92 thousand dollars, smashing their 50 thousand dollar fundraising goal and their previous record of 82 grand.

Are they doing bumper cars on water with that ship or what?
It looks like something I would expect to see coming from Putinistan, not from western country...

Might take a little bit of time for lake to become ice free here.
Neightbour told there's "just" 82cm of ice to melt left...

No the large ice breaker has cut shipping lanes in the ice that is over 2 meters thick in some spots. Ships that have come to port to get grain need to have the narrow shipping lanes kept open. No sense in bringing in the large ice breaker to keep the lanes open. Cold temps at night and shifting winds will move the ice so it needs to be opened back up again.
And no we here in Canada do not operate like putin as you say. Many Ukrainians here in my town would take offence to that comment including myself.

But what have they been doing with that cargo ship?
No one hasn't even bothered to paint over all those scratches and dents in hull.

Will it make it go faster? LOL
Guessing the cold winter months are just to cold to paint. And now that they can actually get out and start shipping grain to the world, paint is the last thing they are worried about.
