If you decide to take on the do-it-yourself repair of your gimbal, make sure that you take special care not to tear even a strand of this cable. This is your LVDS cable and it carries the video signal and gyroscope command from your camera lens to the gimbal printed circuit board. If you tear or kink even one strand of this cable, you can get several different error messages and possibly chase your tail around for a while trying to figure out what's wrong.
2 of the problems you could experience from this cable being torn are gimbal gyroscope error message and also a black screen. The gimbal gyroscope error message will come if one strand is broken or kinked. The black screen will come if more than one strand is broken. If either one of these happen, the cable cannot be repaired and will need to be replaced.
Take your time with a repair, and take special care with this cable, and you should be fine.
This cable looks fine, right? It had one kinked strand, and was giving a gimbal gyroscope error.
