I'm new to this, just new enough to wrong stick into a tree with my new mavic. While extracting said drone from said tree, it fell 20+ feet directly on the camera. End result, one broken rotor arm, one trashed gimbal mount. Don't know if the camera itself is broke? But broke is the general assessment.
Question is, what should I do? Send it back, or can I buy parts to fix? No insurance. Will there be calibration issues after a hit like that? Please help. I'm not done with this thing, just not sure where to go

Thank you for mentioning me @Robert Mitchell

OP, do you have some pictures? The good news is that you got it back. Any Mavic can be fixed, and some repairs you can do yourself. If you are handy with a soldering iron, and have fixed microelectronics before, you should not have a problem.

Troubleshooting the gimbal is the interesting part. Sometimes it takes me 2-3 hours just to find out what's wrong, and I have new parts that I can swap out for testing. If you dont have the replacement parts, the repair could take weeks to diagnose, and then get all the parts ordered and delivered.

If all else fails, I can take a look at it for you, if youre in the USA. I've repaired hundreds of them. See my repair thread below.
