You know, drone shows like those are, well, a bit excessive in the first place. So drones falling out if the sky at them is sort of like people going to the races to see cars crash in flames. The audience was probably entertained.

That said, the drones were halting flight, motors full stop, something a "jammer" should not do (not sure how it could since all that is being blocked is communications). If anything, all a jammer should do is make the drones go into whatever failsafe mode they have.

The effect in that video looks more like neutrons being aimed at the flock (got to add something for the conspiracy crowd to latch onto).
