IMU Calibration Observation

I just calibrated my MP and had a couple of observations....maybe this is normal.
Been going around my place for a place to cal my MP IMU, everywhere I go I get a mag interference and also prompting me to cal compass.
Last resort just to make sure, I unfolded the arm and fired up the App and the RC and finally the MP.....gues what.....compass error prompt is gone
together w/ the mag interference. So, I decided to fold it back up fired up everything, ignored those errors and proceeded w/ the IMU w/ sucess.
My question now, is this NORMAL?

I haven't gotten this when calibrating. That's a weird one. I have seen it when I've had it on my workbench which is 90% metal, also on the hood of my car etc.

This is normal. When the arm is folded, the motor is close to the compass which causes a mag interference. It does NOT interfere with the IMU calibration.
