IMU Question

Should the IMU need calibration out of the box? Mine says it’s all good but I’m almost questioning that.

What makes you question that. If it’s functioning correctly leave it alone. I’ve never calibrated the IMU on either of my Mavics after hundreds of hours, and never a glitch.

@Robert Mitchell is correct. However, you might want to consider a compass calibration. The bottom line is neither of these calibrations are difficult, and really cost you nothing, meaning that it may not make it better but won't make it worse.

This is what I was leaning towards, I figured it was fine and didn’t bother with it anyway I just wanted to make sure. I had a magnetic interference warning but a compass calibration fixed that. Thanks guys.
