iPad 6 gen(very old) wind at 400 ft 25 mph gusts 34 mph
iPad 6 (new) wind at 400 ft 14 mph gusts 21 mph
iPad mini 5 (new) wind at 400 ft 25 mph gusts 34 mph

What gives it's the same app using home wifi for connection?

just goes to show ,that the info is not really that accurate ,and is not location specific ,its a generalisation,of lots of data from different sources

and it is not coming from the drone, they are not flying weather stations but rather the internet searching weather conditions
