Just got back from a really good afternoon of flying.
One thing i noticed during flying around was that the
altitude reading on the screen was reading a minus figure.
The home point was updated before take off and RTH worked
fine as well. Has anyone else had the same issue.
Thanks in advance.

Were you flying in a valley from a ridge?

Anytime you launch high and fly low, you'll get negative numbers relative to the launch point.

Ok thanks, so is the number its showing as your altitude correct,
or is there a problem

If it was only a few feet off, that's normal. The barometer altitude can drift as much as 10ft. The VPS based altitude should be pretty accurate though.

I've seen that with my Air 2 on the return after a fairly short flight. It's reading at least 25 ft. low. Barometric change in the atmosphere doesn't explain it. I've checked ..the change would have to be in biblical proportions to have occurred in that short of time. I'm not used to seeing that happen on my other drones. To tell the truth I don't know how often it has happened. I don't look at the telemetry much on that portion of the flight because it is very flat and I'm always LOS ? My back yard opens onto the desert.
