INDIA: Anyone had experince recently getting thru customs?

I will go to Maldives after India and plan to bring a drone to fly at Maldives.



they just came up with new laws that drones are illegal to fly in india if no permit.



i dont intend to use the drone in india but, i heard that customs can confiscate the drone if they see one.







my question is: what are the chances that they will open my baggage ? my drone is foldable and hard to see in xray. they will only see it if they see it physically ifthey open my bag
