Inputing credit card number to get authorizations to fly

I was able to fly my Zoom in some of the restricted area before ( by clicking agree) but after I did the update my drone is asking me to input credit card
number before I can fly, has anyone input their credit card and do you get charge?

never heard of that before, not the sort of thing I would be happy doing, maybe its an identity check, or if something went wrong in the restricted area

I think that's part of setting up a log-on identity with DJI. If the OP had not already got a DJI account set up, then that may have been part of what was going on in the unlock procedure?

It's not a scam but must say I don't like the idea of using credit card details to prove identity either.

The credit card number is one method of verification, but a phone number can be used instead apparently ...
