Our own @vicvideopic has posted a couple of reviews of the Mini 3 to YouTube. They are very interesting.
I trust Vic more than anyone about aerial photography and photography in general, and I have to say I agree with him.

Photo quality is close but not quite as good as my Air 2S. Video quality is not as good as my Air 2S.
Still a great little drone but won't be replacing my Air 2S when image quality is the most important thing to consider for a flight.

To be fair the whole point of the drone is it can be flown in A1 whereas heavier drones cannot.
Its not and is never going to beat bigger sensors and camera systems.

If its image quality is the most important thing you're after then you want a mavic 3 flown in A2 as opposed to an Air2s anyway.

(Not that i trust any youtuber reviewer including this one in general anyway).

Quite frankly I'm very impressed with what these tiny cameras can do. Ya you could get a better image by floating a DSLR or larger camera if you want to deal with the expense and trouble of doing so. My cup of tea is still the Mavic 2 Pro. Full control over the camera and what I consider a sweet image. If I get a shot that is just special I can run it through Topez video enhance and I have no issues with using the image blended with any other camera on a project.
