TLDR: If a warning message is displayed--high wind, GPS, wifi, video feed, on and on--and then disappears from the DJI Go4 screen, does that mean the issue is not currently present? (Not to say it won't return!)
--------------
The nature of some warnings is obviously "From here on ..." (say, a critical battery alert). Others seem to come and go (say, a high wind alert). In the latter case (and there are plenty of others, as noted above), when the warning disappears it's not clear to me if the problem has been resolved, or if I should still fly under its shadow.

Case: Wide open space with one gigantic structure. Almost perfect conditions all around, except that I'm flying at about my tolerance for wind. As the bird circles the structure: High Wind Warning! At this point, she's uphill and downwind of me in uneven terrain; and everyone knows the wind increases with altitude. This worries me, but then the wind warning disappears! I ask myself, "Is the wind picking up, and I've been informed, and it's time to hustle home? Or was that just a gust that topped the threshold but has passed, and I'm OK for now?"

Obviously, one gust may predict another, and so on. However, during the time such an alert is absent, even if it was previously present, can I assume 100% normal operation under the known conditions? For example, can I mentally acknowledge and prepare for possibly gusty winds, yet fly in-the-moment with confidence that the drone is not currently in distress? Or am I expected to assume full-on bad conditions (wind, GPS, illumination, wifi, etc.) henceforth, and act accordingly?

Again, I just used wind as an example, but there are dozens of others that raise similar "acknowledge vs. it-is-on" kinds of questions. I'm just not sure what to think when a warning message is withdrawn in DJI Go4.

Thoughts?

Very interesting topic and I think you are wise to question the GO4 app on screen warnings.

The GO4 app is really a consumer grade product that is constantly updated to support every new gadget DJI comes up with. Many screen info is there to give the novice user the idea that DJI takes care of everything.
Not so. I don't trust many of the warnings when they pop up and most of the time they appear useless or lead to the wrong action. I rather take my own preparations before flying, run through my checklist before taking off, take a few minutes to check the controls while hovering, check the weather (before and while I fly), and interpret the telemetry data myself. I determine when it's time to come home. Not the app. I determine if I need a calibration because the app just doesn't know that I'm standing on a ferric iron rock.

I would rather ONLY have the telemetry on screen, as well as the map and the camera screen. And it would only have to show the info that I'm interested in at that moment.
The telemetry info is quite reliable. It's just the preprogrammed interpretations that are not accounting for every possible situation. Which is impossible given the 'toy grade' technology used in our consumer drones. It gives a totally false feeling of safety, often leading to over confidence and ultimately to 'fly aways', RTH crashes, Obstacle Avoidance crashes, Low Power Auto landing crashes, etc.

I'd think that if the error message disappears by itself, that the issue within said warning is no longer present.
I recently flew near a bridge with a radar post next to it. When I got somewhat within its proximity (+-20 meters) I got a high interference warning and backed off immediately, the warning disappeared at pretty much the same radius from the radar as when it appeared.
Same with compass errors. Sometimes I receive one where I want to take off, but after picking it up and walking away a few meters, the error disappears again.

So it seems to be a realtime error message in my eyes.

I'd agree with ummm 'transient' (sic) errors, the FC see's them as they are, at the time. So a "strong wind", or "compass error" could be a temporary event.
You could ignore that....?
Things that dont change are "Critical battery" warnings!!
Battery warnings can come up no doubt with big stick inputs and big current draws??
I think, you need to take each and every warning by its merits, and respond accordingly.

Of course I’m wise! ;) (“Oh, a wise guy,eh?” -Moe)

Looks like you’d prefer full time ATTI mode. That’s fine, you’re apparently highly skilled and experienced.
Not me. I may be (sometimes) able to make a judgement based on my senses & experience. Wind might be an example, but a few weeks ago I had her down in a sheer canyon in Utah, 650’ below my feet. Had I received a wind warning there (didn’t), I could only guess what she was dealing with; canyon winds are notoriously tricky. So even wind can’t always be judged by the pilot.
If the bird’s onboard analysis detects suboptimal conditions, I want to hear about it! Starting to lose GPS down in that canyon (that did happen)? Get her back out of the narrows and GPS improves. Cool, I guess(?).
But a transient compass error down there? Even if it goes away, I don’t know if an inflight calibration is sufficiently accurate to continue; I’d want to bring her back up for a checkup!
I just want clarity about the meaning when a warning message is pulled. As with the last example, even if I have doubts about the actual “transient” nature of the issue, I’d like to not worry quite as much after the warning has been pulled, though I may elect to bring her back anyway.
PS: hat-tip to @Simmo, who found the word I wanted: “transient”.
