I've heard quite often that ipad mini "not supported by DJI". Well i can tell you that my mini 5 is working just fine with my MM !!

FYI, that just means DJI doesn't offer technical support for it. And not that it won't technically work.

I’ve been using an iPad mini 5. Wifi+cellular for the past 4 months all good but need a sun screen.

How's the brightness in sunlight?

I’ve been using it since last summer and it’s not bad, but in direct sunlight, like the majority of non specific drone screens, it suffers. Crystal Sky is the only one I saw that had the correct NITS to use in bright sun.
I will say though, that it’s a fantastic tablet and I’ve grown to use it more than my computer.

I first tried the 10 inch iPad, but it’s far too large and heavy. The mini size is just the right weight and size. You’ll love it.

The knocks against it is that the bevels are large and the screen is super glossy. You need a matte screen filter especially if you want to use this in a sunny environment.

Anyone know if the ipad mini gen 5 is compatible with the mavic mini?

I use the 4, works fine. I tether to my phone with Bluetooth for the Google map on the Fly app.
