I'm thinking of going with a used iPad 4. This maybe a dumb question, but does the iPad need to be able to get a data plan to be able to get maps and stuff? Thanks in advanced!
No need for a data plan, you can cache your maps from wifi, my apologies I thought you meant iPad mini 4.I'm thinking of going with a used iPad 4. This maybe a dumb question, but does the iPad need to be able to get a data plan to be able to get maps and stuff? Thanks in advanced!
If you're referring to a 4th generation iPad, it's not compatible with DJI GO. You should use an Apple device from this list instead.I'm thinking of going with a used iPad 4.
No. You can cache the maps in DJI GO ahead of time like this. You could also tether your iPad to a phone to share the Internet connection.I'm thinking of going with a used iPad 4.
Is it an iPad 4 or iPad mini 4 as msinger stated an iPad 4 will not work. Thanks for the reply Bunny Too
So if I am away from wifi safe to say maps will not work?
My biggest concern is the ability to see the where I am in relation from the drone on the little screen on the bottom left.
Where you see the yellow line that shows the exactly how to fly back.
