iPhone 8 plus connectivity issue

Hello fellow pilots! I am having a problem connecting my IPhone 8 plus to my controller. I am on the latest firmware as of the moment and my IPhone is on 11.0.2. I am able to fly with my previous phone (Note 4) with no issues. I have tried different cords, connecting to the bottom of the controller, and with the stock connection as well. I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice with no luck. The battery on my iPhone will show that it is charging for about a second every time I reconnect the controller to my phone but then it does not stay connected. The app says the mavic is not connected but it is fully connected to the controller and ready to fly. I am able to successfully connect through WiFi to fly the drone but not through the controller. Any one else having this problem? Any suggestions?

I found the solution. Updating from iOS 11.02 to 11.03 fixed my issue.

I have the same issue and I have IOS 11.0.3. I have tried everything, but nothing works I can use my old iPhone 6 Plus but hard to use with a cracked screen
