If the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine are of the same physical size, would it be possible to fit an SSD in a normal Mavic 3?
Possibly, if you had the resources of the DJI factory. If the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Cine are of the same physical size, would it be possible to fit an SSD in a normal Mavic 3?

If you were curious about making a DIY Mavic 3 cine, no.Ok thanks guys, quite happy to stick with a SIM card then.
Many thanks for your advice, I meant SD card, SIM card just a slip of my aging brain. If you were curious about making a DIY Mavic 3 cine, no.
If you managed to fit an SSD, you still wouldn't have a licence from Apple to be able to record in Prores.
But You can already use very large SD cards (a Sim card is something completely different), that can hold many hours of video, if you don't mind putting lots of eggs in one basket.
Prores files are huge and the SSD in the Cine version can only store about 2.5 hours of video.
Using a big SD in a regular Mavic 3, you could store many times more video before you would have to download it.
Technically, a "micro SD card," if we want to avoid all confusion. Many thanks for your advice, I meant SD card, SIM card just a slip of my aging brain.
