I have a 3D-Connexion Spacemouse like this one.

A single joystick has three translational movements (x, y anz z) and rotations around 2 axis. It would be enough to control the drone, and from my point of view more natural than using two sticks.
It's designed for CAD but it can also be used to fly several flight simulators or with Google earth view.
In order to be used for some applications it needs special configuration files.

Will it be possible to use it to control my Mavic?
Connected to the RC o directly to my phone?

Why don't drone manufacturers make 5-axis sticks for their controllers?

I’ve always wondered the same thing. It would be so much natural to just point where you want the drone to go and it handles turn bank and whatever’s needed + this would avoid the confusion when the drone is turned away or backwards and determine which why is which would be avoided.

If this was ever made I’d for sure buy one.
