i see a bunch of these on walmart ranging from 10-15$, all looking the same https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mavic2BatteryAdapter and i see it can work to externally power things such as a light, but you can also hook up a battery to it for extra power. im wondering how safe this is to the DJI battery, what kind of battery id need since im not seeing the connector type, if i can use 2 batteries or where i can buy a light to go on the 2nd port.

Interesting. I wonder if it works? Someone posted a modification on a mavic 2 battery here somewhere so you could stack the second like in this case but they opened up the battery casing. I would be curious what the battery panel would show during the flight. Would the volts stay between 14-17 as normal? More heat generation would be bad. The batteries already push 55 deg Cent at the end of a flight if you push it below 14 volts.(<20%).

How would it be a risk?

Adding something under the battery further reduces the available space for slight battery expansion during flight and could reduce the security of the battery clips holding the battery in place.

And, if the contacts to the AC power tabs isn’t tight the increased resistance can lead to heat build-up - not what you want with so much current flowing.

Best Battery Adapter I Found for extra 4s battery and flight time for Mavic 2 pro or zoom. There is no guessing which pins to put the ribbon cable on as the ribbon covers the whole strip of battery terminal pins.
