I am looking to change out my damaged Mavic 2 zoom for a Mavic 2 Air and just wanted to know if the Mavic 2 Zoom controller would work on the Mavic 2 Air?
Not unless your controller is the smart controller because it's not a Mavic 2 Air but Mavic Air 2. The Air is a different series of drone. They decided to use the same technology and controller between the Mini2 and MA2 so those are interchangeable but that's it. The M2 series, Pro and Zoom, use the same controller, batteries and accessories though if that helps.
Good morning,
More questions about compatibility...Is the Mavic Mini2 remote compatible with the Mavic Mini ? and does the Smart Controller work with the Mavic Mini (not MM2) if there is no compatibility in question 1? Thanks

No, the Mini2 is not compatible with the Mavic Mini. The MM uses enhanced wifi and the Mini2 uses occusync. To the best of my knowledge the smart controller is not compatible with the MM either for the same reason. And I'm sorry, after some additional research I found that they haven't actually implemented Mini2 compatibility for the smart controller. The Smart controller works with MA2, M2( all varieties as far as I know) and phantom 4 pro v2.
