Is Mavmount 2.0 compatible with Mavic 2?

I would imagine yes. My polar mount from my MPP works just fine with the new remote. New remote has basically the same overall shape.

Ok good to hear. I wasn't sure if there are any changes to the remote since it holds the sticks now.

I found the polar mount did not fit as well. Due to rubber mounts for sticks it can’t get up under the rear lip of the controller like it does on Mavic Pro platinum.

So allows for not as secure a mount as before.

Mavmount 3.0 works fine.

I flip mine around so iPad is below the controller.

Interesting idea. So the IPad is now under the transmitter? I don't have mine with me to try and see how this works but it sounds interesting.

It's not as much below it but at waist level. I will try to get a pic up a bit later. Don't feel bad, it was a fellow pilot who watched me flying and suggested the reverse. Works great, as you can see both iPad 10.5" and Mavic screen.

I do have one followup question: What are you looking at on the Tx screen that isn't on the iPad? Once I see the aircraft to Tx connection I don't recall looking at the Tx screen any more.

Hi By Tx screen do you mean the controller screen?

I agree once I have it on iPad I only look at controller screen rarely. But it’s when the system goes away djigo4 on iPad. Then I will rely on the little screen and hopefully I am VLOS when it happens. But you get distance and speed which help a lot.

Just a nice back up P4 Pro lacks.

Yes sir Tx = Transmitter = controller

Thank you for your input.

Occasionally I fly without a sunscreen and it’s easier to see the aircraft data on the RC screen than on the iPad. Also, as the OP said above, when something goes screwy, we all look up and it’s a lot easier to see the RC display when you need it quickly.

I'm afraid I'm suffering from OSI (Old School-Ittis) LOL. I don't use the Tx screen. I would be fine without a screen on it at all but I fully understand why others use it.
