How so

No cables, quick and easy startup, one piece of equipment requiring charge, easy convenient storage, brighter screen than the generic android tablet you are suggesting, never any connection issues or firmware mismatches.
To name a few benefits over a seperate android tablet

Over the years I’ve used various crystal sky’s, iPad mounts for everything from the 12” pro down, some great mounting solutions with the tripltek monitor, hdmi dongles to large screen mounted in a case, other smart controllers, and I think this is one of the best controllers I’ve used
