Is there a away to search for a subject but, in the out put, display only one entry per thread ?

e.g. if I run a search for "mini flyaway" I often get threads showing up multiple times on the same page or multiple pages.
It would be convenuents if each thread showed up only once in the output of a search.

Yes.
Go into Search, then into advanced search.
Make sure you're on the 'Threads' tab.
Scroll down and there's a checkbox to 'display results as threads'. Tick it.

Scroll right down.
