Issue with new Mavic 2 Pro

Has any one seen this before. The first day of use the images were fine. Now the picture or video is good for 20 seconds then it switches to this. It randomly switches back to nornal and then back to magenta. Some times magenta from the start. The magenta images are both the live feed and stored on the SD Card.

Yes, I had that once (Phantom, not Mavic). It happened when the device was put away hot and still on during the summer. I found it that way in the bag when I got home, freaked out and turned it off, let it cool down. But it never went back to normal and required factory repair.

I've also seen this on crashed devices. Again, it took repair (edit: factory, or self-replacement of camera/gimbal package, parts at my cost).

Basically, if this is a brand new unit, I would return it for replacement (not repair, not replacement with a refurb -- this is the time for a new-in-box full replacement at no cost to you).

Thanks for the comment. I am sending it in tomorrow. I was wanting to make sure I didn't have a camera setting wrong before I went through the replacement process with DJI.

It looks like an infrared lens?

Yessir…..I had a phone camera that did the exact same thing. It's got to do with it overheating and damaging something in the camera circuitry. In my experience, it won't ever go away without being repaired. Good luck! Let us know how DJI treats this issue.

Happy to report the problem was covered by the original warranty. The product was replaced and returned in less than 14 days.
