Jacked up Meta Data

Took the Zoom out for more testing. Looked at the Meta Data in the still photos.

It says I am flying 387 million feet above sea level.

Gotta love DJI testing. Wonder what other Meta Data is jacked up. I do a lot of work for insurance companies and they require accurate Meta Data.

Obviously, it's not correct.
I've seen someone else make the same comment but when checking using a different program, the data was correct.
If you check the exif info in Photoshop, what does it show?

ps the altitude data in exif info comes from GPS and can be very inaccurate (+/- 200 ft is common)

Well, it is not my job to debug DJI SW for them but what the heck. I wrote a PHP script to pull the meta data.

Here it is and as you can see, the altitude data is jacked up. I renamed the file to test.jpg. The altitude data is 1181283169 which is what the data above says (in meters).

Same issue with Pro; also Video files no longer contain ANY GPS info - something that was very useful to me!

Yeah, I discovered that as well today. One of the things I do is line inspections for small rural electric companies. The GPS in the .SRT data is a must.

Won't be able to use the Mavic 2 until they put this back in.

Very annoyed this was yet another feature they removed.

I knew they removed it from mp4, they removed it from SRT as well? Errr! Let DJI know - hope it gets some traction. Should be an easy firmware fix. BUG: Missing GPS Info / Data from Video File Properties

Maybe you have to subtract the distance through the earth between here and DJI's factory?

Nope, field was 5,000 feet above sea level (just outside Denver).
