This happened back in May 2018, but since it involved a Police helicopter (rather than a drone) being in the same airspace as an airliner, it wasn't sensationalised in the newspapers etc.
It does show that it's not just those 'irresponsible drone pilots' that get it wrong ...

Not comparable at all. There's no problem for manned aircraft to be "in the same airspace" when they're all properly controlled by ATC.

There's a company offering helicopter flights above LAX for photographers to shoot airplanes in flight around the airport. No issue obviously.

The day drones have the same reliability as manned aircraft, have transponders and their pilots are talking to ATC over radio this will work as well.

Fake news.
A police helicopter has many cameras, some with powerful zooms.
This could have been taken at 2000 or even 3000 feet over the surface, well above the path of Heathrow landings.
Yawn.....
Moving on. Nothing to see here!

8000ft according to video description:
The plane, which was making its descent into Heathrow airport, was flying between 1,000 and 3,000 ft - way below the officers at 8,000ft.
