I just received my Mavic last week and have flown it a couple of times including today. It is windy with speeds at around 15-20mph. It sticks to its position but it jittery in the wind and specially when a gust of wind comes up. Is this normal?

Here's a short video I took of it hovering in the wind. You can see the flag waving in the background.

You will have all sorts of turbulence in a closed area like that when windy.

Pop it in tripod mode indoors and it should be steady as a rock.

Yes this is normal, and you will notice it wobble like crazy when you fly in 30 mph winds like I did once. But don't that, it's really dangerous and risky.

If you've flown a plane, when you hit turbulent winds, you will notice the plane will shake while it tries to hold steady. Same for the Mavic.

It may not appear as jittery in forward flight. I think it takes more work balancing itself in one position.
