I used to fly in Shorty Howell park in Duluth - when there are no games, the far end is pretty much empty. Another place to explore is Web Bridge park - Planning to fly some time soon when the whether cooperates!

Brand new to this and looking for places to practice anywhere near Johns Creek. I'll try the Forsyth drone park first, but wondering about other places. I've seen Lanier, Shorty Howell, and Web Bridge Park mentioned above, but it looks to me like all parks are off-limits, and Lanier needs Army Corp approval well ahead of time?

I'd appreciate any adivce on where to start flying for a noob.
