Just Bought The Fly More Plus Combo

So I placed an order for the fly more plus kit today. Does anyone know a site where I can just buy the Mini 3 with no battery? I'd like to have all my batteries be the plus variety so having a standard would be a bit of a waste.

Yeah, that's the impression I got. Darn. Didn't really want a 34 minute flight time battery.

I think it would be handy to have as you could use the smaller battery where regulations could be an issue. If you really dont want the battery, they are currently in short supply so I think you would have no issues selling it.

Then sell the smaller battery if you don't mind flying above 250 g.

You know if you fly with the larger battery in Canada you are required to register the mini 3 and require a license to fly it.

I'd keep it, batteries are hard to find right now, I like the extra time I get with the plus batteries, but the 30 minutes I get with the stock battery is OK for a third battery - I'll probably buy 1 or 2 more plus batteries when they come available...

As well, you are much more limited in where you can fly. Depending on where you are planning on fling, that will make a difference.

Note that the 249 g label is on the battery, not the aircraft, so if you are flying with a plus battery your drone has no label saying 249 g.

My plan is to eventually have three batteries of each type. For rural areas I can use the plus batteries and enjoy the extra flight time (flying with my basic certification), while for urban areas (and control zones) I can use the standard batteries.
