Just wondering, could questions relating to the M3 be temporarily prevented from showing in the new threads section?

Afraid not. This happens with every new release and we just wade through the fan fare for a few weeks and then back to somewhat normal.

You can temp restrict seeing the M3 threads in your settings.
I did this for the mini release as it too was about 90% of new threads at the time and just wanted to skip seeing them.

It certainly could in the Mini release era, and after avoiding the 100's of Mini post for a month or so, I opened that up again for reading.

Just before replying to you @PhiliusFoggg I was also thinking this M3 thing is getting messy, and should block those for a while.

I recall it was a simple thing, just click a check box 'Ignore Forum', think it was on the forum main page, and right there plain as day.
Hope it hasn't been taken away, as it's very handy to click in to check new posts and not have so many duplicating, repetitive posts about these new releases.

I thought there was an ignore forum option as well which I can't find now and there was also an ignore thread button which seems to be missing now.

Sorry - I removed that "ignore content" plugin when were having some server issues.

I just reinstalled it. Just go to the M3 discussion area and click the "ignore forum" at the top right. It won't get rid of it everywhere (emails, etc..) but will in most places.

Try clicking your profile icon at the top right, then click ignore then on that screen click Forums (in between users and threads) then you should see the forum listed there with a delete icon at the right hand side, clicking that should return it to normal.

I tried ignoring the Moverio smart glasses forum section but I didn't see the View Ignored Content on the front page but was able to restore it as above.

I could but initially I saw not posts, when I clicked on show ignored content the posts appeared along with the unignore forum button.
All sorted now, thanks.
