I have been there many times and have attempted to shoot drone video but have always run into problems. When trying to launch from the beach across from the falls, there seems to be some magnetic interference that generates warnings and instability. There is a power line overhead and of course the small power plant at the falls which may be creating the problem. Perhaps, I need to kayak over to the falls and launch from there.
Many of my friends have kayaked over the falls and I would like to shoot some video of them doing this.

The beach is where I launched from and I did notice a little interference but I stayed pretty low to the water and once past the lines it took off fine. It’s such a nice place to visit.
