Keep settings when switching between video and photo?

I can't for the life of me figure out if it's possible to keep your settings when switching between video and photo modes. If I'm shooting in M for video, I'd like to be able to have photo mode in AE or A.
Anyone know if this is possible? It's super annoying having to change it all the time.

I understand your frustration for I have it too. Even the spark kept settings when switching between video n photo. Hopefully, a firmware update will make all well. Happy flying.

Yep it's annoying.
Going from aperture priority in stills to shutter or Manual priority in video and having to redo each setting gets old quite fast.

yes it is dumb as dumb gets. hopefully this will be fixed in a FW update along with ability to set battery discharge days.
