Koronida is an islet located in front of the port of the Valley in the area of Ermionida. It is a flat green island, owned today by the Livanos shipowner. It is believed that the island of Koronida owes its name to the neighboring Kranidi, a name that emerged from the corruption of Koronidas in Kranida and then in Kranidi.
Koronida belongs to the municipality of Kranidi, in the municipal district of Koilada. On the shore opposite the islet is the Franghthi cave.
