Large gimbal jump - thread moved to Mavic Help

I have seen this also but mainly in sports mode. I think the back of the gimbal occasionally hits the body behind/above it when braking suddenly, while in maximum forward pitch. Were you in sports mode at the time?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I've actually moved the thread to Mavic Help but couldn't figure out how to delete this version. I wasn't in Sport mode, and it was actually only just starting to accelerate. See the video in the duplicate thread. Got up to about 7.5 m/s. However, what you say does make sense. Could be a combination of yaw and the braking? Just trying to establish if I have a fault, and the weather here isn't making it possible to try again for quite a few days.

I think you're right. A combination of yaw and hard breaking might lead to contact between gimbal and body, forcing it to reset. DJI even puts a protective sticker on the back of the roll motor because otherwise it might get scratched.
