So did you get a notification that you needed an update, or did you go looking for it?

after i had seen it mentioned on this forum ,i had a look on the APP store it hadn't shown up here yet, but then today i had a notification that it was available on my device

Same here, my iPad informed me of the update. Waiting with baited breath for the SC update - that’s still stuck down at 1.16!

It is now available here also. It is Fly App 1.2.2

Updating now .....

Looking forward to testing this tomorrow.

Same here! I went out to fly and the direction indicator was gone. I Searched through the dji fly app menu and did not see anywhere to turn it on.

It’s like they forgot to install it. We did loose the direction indicator!

Have you tried clicking on the map icon in the lower left? I updated this morning here in the USA and also noticed the direction indicator was gone and when I touched the map it became the new attitude direction indicator... but now I can't get the map back.

I tried performing that operation several times.....nevertheless, clicking on the map thumbnail the map view is the same before the update.

Look inside of the thumbnail map box on the bottom right corner, you’ll see a very small compass icon. If you touch that very small icon the compass will appear, and the map will go away. To bring the map back, touch the very small locator icon.

OK guys I figured it out, tap on the bottom left corner of the thumbnail map. The radar map will show up. Tap on the bottom right again and the map will appear.

Yes all is good with the orientation indicator now. I jumped the gun and didn’t look close enough. Where the hell is my glasses?

Did you guys figure out how to get the middle screen radar indicator back? I cannot figure it out

It has been replaced with the attitude indicator. That orientation indicator has confused everyone, especially when the phone has compass issues.

Go has had the attitude indicator since the beginning and there hadn't been so much clamor about orientation misrepresentation like there had been with Fly's orientation indicator. One possible reason is because the attitude indicator shows you which way is North as determined by the AC's compass.

Is it something that NEEDS to be downloaded? Or is it something that can be ignored for now? I am still finding my way around the current screen (yes the best part of a year!) and just as I am starting to remember where to find stuff - they change it. I can't cope very well with things changing around, so I am inclined to leave it as it is - unless that will cause problems (mk1 Air still, for now).

it is for the fly app ,if you are flying a Mavic Air 1, then it does not apply to you as you will be using the GO4 app
