Length issue with ID in Europe

From the 1st of January, an ID is one of the requirements to fly ligaly in the EU.
I found this option in settings but this ID is limited by 10 characters long.
But the ID that I got is 19 characters long (including 2 dashes).
Anyone had this issue or no one bothered by that yet?

Are you perhaps mixing up differing ID's? In the UK there is an ID, that comes from our CAA that is meant to be written on the outside of the drone. Mine is 10 digits long including dashes.
I have seen mention in tne MM menus of an ID that is IN the drone and possibly broadcast but I have not looked at that yet.

The ID you can enter in the app currently would only be picked up by Aeroscope. DJI may incorporate that into FAA's in progress RID requirement.

The ID that I received in Austria is 16 digits long also.
It comes in the following form;

XXXyyyyyyyyyyyyy
X... 3 times... code for country of origin
y... 13 times... specific code to identify drone operator

...so no way of currently setting this ID in the remote...

The setting in the app has nothing to do with the European ID requirement. That's just DJI's own ID system that no one really uses at the moment.
