Life of a drone

Drone longevity depends on a mix of battery health, motor wear, and overall maintenance.

I don't recall ever hearing or reading about a motor failure due to wear.

I had an Autel Evol Lite with the motors failing after 60h or so, but so far my Mavic 3 has 288 hours of flight time and 7,040 Km traveled.

In total, I have around 2,500 flights, 720 hours of flight time and 18,300 Km and so far never had a crash midflight (with camera drones, ofc I've crashed the Avata a few times).

In my experience, DJI drones are quite reliable, and the maintenance is pretty basic.
