So I went ahead and ordered this very cheap Lightake backpack. The quality of the backpack isn't the greatest but you can leave the Mavic unfolded. I know, I know...Why would you want to that? Maybe convenience, maybe so I don't have to open and close the arms so often or maybe it's just my preference at this time.
Anyway, I hacked at the foam to accommodate the way I wanted to set it up. Not the greatest setup but I'll give it a try for a couple weeks and see how I like it.
