I hope I can get some advice on how to best light a building up at night please. What have you found are the best tools for the job? What type of lights do you find most effective - maybe up-lighters? How many lights do you use? And what lumen rating do you use?

It was more a general question really, just thinking ahead and doing the planning for my night-time test just made me think what people use.
I guess specifically, the flight path is outside, covering a 180 degree view (NE to SW) of the facade of a large house. There are some trees in the grounds so the flight will be a bit above tree-top level.

I've used these. I own 4 of them that I use for my jobs sometimes. They will definitely light up the side of a house. They're not the cheapest but you can use them with the batteries or just use a cord and they won't blow the bulb if you knock them over.
