lightning cable adaptor and splitter

Has anyone tried flying using a lightning cable adaptor and splitter so you can charge an ipad and fly at the same time. My ipad keeps running out of power before I run out of day...

If you're thinking of drawing power from the controller. Don't. You'll need that power as well. I use a seperate power bank attached to the iPad mount.

No I was planning on having the splitter cable feed power and the controller into the ipad. Can you share with me the make and model of the ipad mount? Sounds like it works!!
