Greetings,
Relatively new Mavic 2 Pro flyer here. I’m looking for the best/most simple way to create a linear flight plan — no changes in altitude, drone speed or camera/gimbal settings — with photos taken every 3 seconds. Altitude will generally be pretty low (25-100 feet AGL) and speed would be no faster than 5mph. I don’t need any video or mapping capability, just the photos themselves.
I’ve used Pix4DCapture and DroneDeploy before, but my use cases have always fit into their pre-defined mission templates. Free Flight in Pix4D might be an option?
Unfortunately, my gimbal settings are 100% dependent on visual reference. I could hack together a simple grid plan in Pix4D and guess at gimbal settings but there has to be a better way.
Heard good things about Litchi but otherwise unfamiliar — would it be a good fit for what I’m trying to accomplish? iOS/iPhone platform also.
Thanks all!
