I store my batteries in these HOBBYTIGER LiPo bags.

FWIW, I've never seen anyone mention DJI batteries catching on fire, exploding, etc. However, I feel better storing them in LiPo bags since they are stored in my house.

You could fit a maximum of 12 batteries if it's tightly packed.

I'm not sure about airlines specifically, but according to the FAA (Pack Safe – Lithium ion and lithium metal batteries, spare (uninstalled)):

"Battery terminals (usually the ends) must be protected from short circuit (i.e., the terminals must not come in contact with other metal). Methods include: leaving the batteries in their retail packaging, covering battery terminals with tape, using a battery case, using a battery sleeve in a camera bag, or putting them snugly in a plastic bag or protective pouch."

In short, the terminals just cannot be able to touch anything other than what is protecting them. See the examples dsd317 posted above.

One hot battery, and all twelve become fuel. I wouldn't pack more than two in the same lipo bag.

It says rubber on the site but my instincts tell me 3D printed plastic. I would prefer a tight fitting silicone. Beach sand has a way of getting around plastic. It is a great price for 5 though. Thanks for posting up the link to this product.
