So I’m looking at getting litchi to use with M2z, I can see how to use google earth to plan missions with regards to height agl, my question is, while flying a mission if I miscalculated agl would the mavic s obstacle avoidance still work or would litchi override the drone and simply fly into a hill or a tree etc?

Litchi doesn't have its own obstacle avoidance.
The Mavic's OA system would be active if you have it enabled and work just as you are used to.
It would still be possible for it to crash into thin branches or wires or fail to detect obstacles in poor lighting etc.
Always allow a good safety margin when planning waypoint missions.

Thank you for your help Meta4, pleased to hear that’s how it works.
