Litchi and privacy

Like many here I'm getting uncomfortable with how much data DJI is storing and sharing. If you fly Litchi does DJI keep your flight records/data?

If you use litchi that stores the flight records and not goapp , how can it if its off and not in use

I believe there's a flash chip inside the Mavic that stores the data, and that would be a function of the Mavic's firmware irregardless of which app you are using. When people suggest uploading this flight log, I believe it is from the chip inside the Mavic. I haven't done it yet, no issues or need, so I’m 'best guessing' here.
