A little back story is necessary here. After I ordered my
M2P (my first ever drone) in November I mentioned to a friend that I had ordered one. He replied that had he known I wanted one he would have sold me his hardly used
Phantom 4. I asked him the price and on his reply I said sold. I had to give him a few days to find the charger and paperwork that came with it. Meanwhile my
M2P came in and I started trying to learn how to fly it. When he got back with me so we could complete the deal I had already figured out that my plate was full learning what I needed to with the
M2P and did not need to confuse myself by trying to learn two different platforms at one time. So I loaned it to my brother to learn to fly. He had not ever had a drone the quality of the
P4 and really looked forward to learning it. I have only flown it twice. That was the first day I got it and gave it to my brother and this past Sunday. You asked me if it was a
P4 or
P4P. I cannot honestly answer that without calling him and asking him. I know it's sad but it's true. I am not a computer guy at all and I was so overwhelmed by everything that I didn't even want to look at it! LOL I know it will get better with time and some day I will look back and laugh but for right now I'm on a steep learning curve with the new drone, new computer, DaVinci Resolve 15 Studio, Litchi etc, etc.
As it flies through the air it's rpms surges very noticeably. It will do it in manual flight or in automated flight (RTH). I thought it was probably sensor related so I turned all the sensors off and it still did it. I'm sure someone could look at the flight data and see exactly what is going on.
