Litchi not switching to beta version

Here's an e-mail I wrote to Litchi creator for help, but maybe some of you had the same problem.
If I receive the answer I'll put it here.

I applied to join beta testing and didn't get the update.
I reinstalled the app - so now It's not beta for sure.
The version before and after installation is the same: v4.17.0-g
What to do to switch Litchi to beta now and how can I be sure it is beta?

I noticed the problem because I couldn't connect to Mavic Mini.

Are you on an apple device? If so you have to open it through the app “Test Flight.” Thats all i got..........

Nope, android.

The Litchi support answer:
"The current beta version is 4.18.0 build 3700
If you do not have this version, please try to reinstall the app, make sure you have joined the beta at Beta - Litchi "

So what they suggest is basically: try again
