Just a stupid little question: Could somebody please explain the Litchi option sync gimbal yaw with aircraft heading to me? What is the recommendation: Turn it off or on? And why?

Thanks a lot!

Come on, somebody surely knows that!

To give a little more input here the explanation from the Litchi user manual (that I do not understand as well): sync gimbal yaw with aircraft heading - Enables this to make the gimbal rotate simultaneously with the aircraft's heading when you control the aircraft's heading with the remote controller.

Could somebody please explain? Does it apply just for FPV or also for Waypoint Missions / other automatic fly modes? Thank you very much!

Good questions! I'm watching to see the replies you get. I'm not an expert with Litchi, but having said that...

I take that to mean that the camera will be locked to the aircraft heading. Obviously, that would preclude using the Points of Interest (POI) where the camera will be locked to point at a POI, regardless of the aircraft heading.

I suggest contacting Litchi, and let them explain it.

I believe this setting applies only to an aircraft that has a gimbal with yaw capabilities. Mavics do not.

That would explain that, so it would not make a difference to switch it on or off. Thanks!
