Guys,
I really like the idea of planning flights before you actually get the Mavic in the air... Litchi can do this but I felt a little worried. So I designed a short and easy mission with the Mavic in a line of sight all the time.
After the mission was completed the aircraft flew away instead of returning to the home point! It was at 30m and almost hit a tree. You can see what happened on the HealthDrones log. Of course I calibrated the Mavic before the mission and checked my setting in the App. There was a good satellite coverage, almost no wind, no other interference etc. I have no idea why it went in that strange direction?
The obstacle avoidance kicked in so I could fly it back to the landing point. But what would happen if the trees were not there to stop it from a "fly away"? I preferably do not want to try the App again to check if this was an incident or a bug or something like it.
Appreciate your help,
Theo
