The ruins of Lochmaben Castle, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Construction began in 1298.

Nice. I'm Scottish on my mother's side, the Irvine Clan. The ancestral home is Drum Castle (now a private residence) close to Aberdeen. Thanks for sharing.
