Looking for a bricked mavic battery

Too bad I reside so far out in the sticks that postage of anything with any potential value isn't worth the effort, because I have several dead Mavic batteries, including three that are after-market extra-range batteries that arrived DOA from Ali Express.

Not to worry, there are bound to be other Mavic owners with batteries they are about to thrown out who live closer to your location.

I have a few. And we are in close proximity. Send me a dm/pm with your contact info.

Any chance you would consider fixing a Mavic 2 Pro battery with only around 8 charges? I let it sit to long without charging it and now it won’t respond to the button or a charger

I tried this and although it seemed to unlock, make the changes and lock the battery again it did not seem to solve my problem.

Now that is odd. I wonder if some drained DJI batteries wind up too far gone to be revived this way. Someone with more experience in these matters will soon show up to clarify things. This website is visited by some very knowledgeable drone pilots who can do a better job than me, when it comes to this delicate fix.

Thanks for the video and I appreciate your advice. I think one of the cells was showing 0 volts and this is probably why the board didn’t do the trick. I saw a couple of videos where the battery had to be opened and wires solder to the circuit board for the particular cell that was low and slowly charged to a certain point before it would charge normally.

This is beyond anything I’ve attempted and knowing how fragile these batteries are it’s not something I’m comfortable attempting

I agree that it is best not to open up one of these batteries if one is not familiar with the safeguards needed to prevent mishaps. I'd never cross that line myself, knowing the amount of energy stored in these batteries.

If I remember correctly, there is a guy who advertises DJI battery revival expertise who frequents this website and resides in the USA, so there is a chance he'll respond to this topic.
