Geachte pilots! I have a company putting together videos and one of my clients asked me to do a promotional clip in the Rotterdam area. I also fly drones and started to look into it but my conclusion is that it would be better to hire a reliable Dutch pilot to lift the flight restrictions and do the aerial footage (I will do the post-production). Hello Vincent,
As the flight restrictions in the Netherlands are quite strict. Flying in a built up area is prohibited. Also Rotterdam has an international airport this is a large no fly zone.
There is no way to lift restrictions in Rotterdam only for emergency services.
I thought to warn you about this before your client has too many expectations.
